Utilizing technology such, as the internet and video conferencing tools, for conducting classes and assessments while communicating through email and digital platforms.
Some online learning options offer students the flexibility to study independently whenever they choose (self paced) whereas others demand their participation in time sessions, at specific times (synchronous).
Distance education is utilized across levels of education including K through 12 schooling and higher education well as, for professional growth opportunities, with an array of courses and qualifications available.

**Accessibility of Education;** It provides an opportunity, for individuals who may face challenges attending schools such as those residing in regions or individuals, with physical limitations.
